About the role
Join a leading UK garden centre retailer as the Horticulture Manager for a busy store in Didcot. You will lead the plant and outdoor living department, ensuring high‑quality stock, attractive displays and an engaging customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee plant quality, stock levels and visual merchandising.
- Drive commercial performance by optimising product range, promotions and store layout.
- Recruit, train and motivate a knowledgeable team focused on customer service.
- Maintain health and safety compliance throughout the department.
- Provide expert plant advice to customers, enhancing their shopping experience.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for plants and horticulture.
- Previous experience in a garden centre or plant‑retail environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on sales and service.
