Hospital Cleaner – Part‑time (Evenings)

About the role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking part‑time Hospital Cleaners to join its Environmental Services team. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment across patient rooms, clinical areas and public spaces during evening shifts. You will work 15 hours per week (3‑hour shifts, 5 days, 8 pm‑11 pm) or 18.75 hours per week (3.45‑hour shifts, 5 days, 7:15 pm‑11 pm) at two London sites.

Key responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, examination rooms, offices and public areas including restrooms.
• Vacuum, dust, clean surfaces and mop floors to ensure general upkeep.
• Maintain hard floors and carpet surfaces – buffing, scrubbing, carpet shampoo and daily maintenance.
• Follow hygiene standards and infection‑control requirements.
• Manage linen and laundry handling.
• Handle waste management in accordance with hospital procedures.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused approach is essential.
• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH is essential.
• Prior cleaning experience in a UK healthcare setting is essential.
• General cleaning duties in a patient environment are an advantage.
• Full in‑house training will be provided.
