Hospital Housekeeper – Part‑time Night Shift

About the role

Spire Little Aston Hospital is seeking a part‑time Housekeeper to join its cleaning team on the night shift. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff across the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all designated hospital areas in line with Spire policies and regulatory standards.
• Complete all required paperwork and report any building or fabric issues.
• Carry out scheduled flushing tasks throughout the facility.
• Thoroughly clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Uphold health‑and‑safety and COSHH legislation.
• Promote Spire’s behavioural standards.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Experience in professional cleaning, preferably in a customer‑facing environment.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional weekends.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional appearance suitable for a healthcare setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
