Hostel Manager – Lead Homelessness Service

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Hostel Manager to lead a busy homelessness service in Haringey. You will oversee daily operations, support a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high‑quality, trauma‑informed care that empowers individuals toward sustainable housing.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day running of the hostel, ensuring safety, cleanliness and compliance.
- Provide supervision, coaching and wellbeing support to frontline staff.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with housing, health and voluntary sector partners to facilitate access to essential services.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and person‑centred practices are consistently applied.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies and community organisations.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing or supervising within homelessness, housing or supported accommodation settings.
- Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
- Solid knowledge of homelessness issues, safeguarding and person‑centred practice.
- Excellent communication and partnership‑working skills.
- Passion for delivering high‑quality services that make a real difference.
