Housebuilder Sales Manager

About the role

Do you have a strong work ethic and a passion for exploring new opportunities to build business within the Commercial Interiors sector? Our client, a respected market leader, are looking for a Housebuilder Sales Manager to take on the challenge of penetrating various aspects of the Residential market through key clients and specifiers that operate within the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a customer list across Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Liverpool.
• Create a specific business plan to proactively identify and target growth opportunities.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers at all levels of the customer hierarchy, providing support and raising awareness of the company’s products and services.
• Sell and influence the sale of products and services within margin guidelines.
• Maximise sales of all products across different applications to achieve the highest margin opportunities while meeting or exceeding billing targets.
• Identify, record, monitor and convert project opportunities to maintain and improve market share.
• Gather market and competitor information and feed it back to inform marketing and product plans.

Required profile

• Experience within the floorcoverings sector or a background in retail flooring sales seeking the next career step.
• Experience dealing with housebuilders and the residential market from a building or commercial interiors perspective.
• Proven track record of driving sales through a consultative‑selling approach.
• Experience working on project‑based work with long lead times.
• Strong organisational skills and experience using CRM or similar systems.
• Strong work ethic and passion for exploring new business opportunities with customers.
