Housekeeper – Care Home (Glasgow)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at a luxurious private care facility in Glasgow. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for up to 80 residents, supporting both cleaning and laundry services.

Key responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and correctly labeling clothing.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure a comfortable and dignified environment.

Required profile

• Positive, reliable attitude with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.

Required skills

• Basic cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Laundry handling, including washing, drying and ironing.

• Contractual full‑time or part‑time hours.
