Housekeeper (Nursery Setting)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our West London nursery. Working Monday to Friday, 8am‑5pm, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and hygiene tasks throughout the nursery.
• Ensure all areas are well‑maintained and organized at all times.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including HSE and COSHH procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to meet children’s individual needs.
• Support safeguarding practices and maintain a safe learning environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HSE and COSHH regulations.
• Familiarity with childcare safeguarding legislation.
