Housekeeping Assistant – Bank (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our specialist care home on a bank/zero‑hours basis. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for up to 43 residents, supporting both housekeeping and laundry services.

Key responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Maintain and tidy shared facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and correctly labeling clothing.
• Follow infection‑control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents’ wellbeing.

Required profile

• Positive, reliable attitude.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of hygiene and infection‑control practices (beneficial).
