About the role

As a Housekeeping Assistant in a Barchester care home, you will help create a warm, safe, and tidy environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your daily cleaning and housekeeping duties ensure the home remains welcoming and meets each resident's unique needs.

Key responsibilities

Perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout the care home.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in resident rooms, communal areas, and facilities.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate team.
Support the overall appearance of the home to enhance resident comfort.

Required profile

A caring and personable nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Reliability and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
