About the role

As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, you will play a vital part in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments for residents across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist homes. Your work will directly support the wellbeing of residents by ensuring rooms and communal areas are spotless and hygienic.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and shared spaces according to schedules.
  • Use cleaning products safely and follow hygiene procedures.
  • Support infection control and safety standards.
  • Assist with laundry and linen handling.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs promptly.

Required profile

  • Ability to work more than 20 hours per week with no work restrictions.
  • Organised, time‑managed and detail‑oriented.
  • Positive attitude, kindness and respect in all interactions.
  • Willingness to complete safeguarding training and recognise signs of abuse or neglect.
