About the role

As a Housekeeping Team Member at Unite Students in Bristol West, you will help create a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for students. Working closely with the student experience and facilities teams, you will ensure communal and shared areas are clean, well‑presented and inviting, contributing to a vibrant student community.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all communal and shared spaces.
• Provide a friendly, supportive presence for students and colleagues, offering assistance or signposting support when needed.
• Promote safety and sustainability by keeping properties clean, safe and environmentally conscious.
• Take ownership of issues, acting promptly or raising concerns to ensure a well‑kept environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service.
• Positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to engage in all aspects of the role.
• Approachable and friendly, able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Team‑oriented mindset, contributing to a supportive and welcoming environment.
