Housing Advisor – Tenant Management & Support

About the role

We are recruiting for a proactive Housing Advisor to deliver a high‑quality housing management service for a well‑established organisation in the Twickenham/Teddington area. You will manage a diverse caseload, support vulnerable tenants and ensure compliance with current legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver proactive housing management across a portfolio of properties.
• Manage tenancy matters including arrears, breaches, notices and legal proceedings.
• Handle complex cases such as anti‑social behaviour, complaints and neighbour disputes.
• Oversee voids and allocations from start to finish.
• Conduct tenancy visits and regular site inspections.
• Collaborate with repairs and maintenance teams to support residents.
• Liaise with external agencies and address safeguarding concerns.
• Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies and tenancy agreements.
• Prepare regular reports for internal teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housing or tenancy management.
• Good understanding of housing legislation and tenancy law.
• Experience managing rent arrears, anti‑social behaviour and tenancy enforcement.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑focused approach with capacity to handle challenging situations.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to local sites.
