About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Housing Benefit Quality Assessment Officer to join our team on a temporary, part‑time basis. You will assess and process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims, ensuring compliance with legislation and delivering high‑quality service to the community.
Key responsibilities
- Assess new and existing benefit claims accurately and efficiently
- Verify and process supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide clear advice
- Maintain accurate records and meet performance targets
Required profile
- Previous experience in housing benefits assessment or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Housing Benefit regulations (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
