Housing Business Partner

About the role

The Housing Business Partner will act as the finance lead within our busy supported‑housing department. You will manage day‑to‑day income and expenditure, set rents and service charges, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Set and review rents and service charges for supported housing units.
• Manage tenant debt, rent statements and arrears.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, ledger entries and financial reports.
• Provide finance support for repairs, maintenance projects and capital works.
• Liaise with welfare benefits teams, local authorities and the internal Housing & Estates team.
• Produce finance statements and reports for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on financial documents.
• Experience working in a supported‑housing or similar social‑care environment is desirable.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial management.
