Housing Disrepair Fee Earner (Paralegal/Solicitor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join a growing legal team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will take ownership of a full caseload, handling every stage of a housing disrepair claim from investigation through to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to completion.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with clients, landlords and third parties to negotiate settlements.
• Prepare legal documents, including letters of claim and court proceedings.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients where required.
• Provide clear advice on legal rights and options to vulnerable clients.

Required profile

• Qualified Paralegal, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (LPC qualification).
• Proven experience managing housing disrepair caseloads.
• Experience working with vulnerable clients or in social housing law.

Required skills

• Strong case management and investigative abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Negotiation and client liaison skills.
