Housing First Case Worker – Derry

About the role

Depaul is seeking a Housing First Case Worker for its Derry service. The role involves providing outreach and personalised support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, helping them access housing, health and wellbeing services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver person‑centred support plans, assess safety and wellbeing needs, and reduce identified risks.
• Provide outreach, sign‑posting and group work to connect service users with housing, health and community resources.
• Maintain accurate client records, incident reports and financial transactions in line with organisational policies.
• Collaborate with external agencies, advocate on behalf of service users and promote community integration.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a social care field or equivalent, with at least 2 years paid relevant experience (or 3 years experience with Level 2 qualifications).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.
• Ability to work on a rota and undertake varied shift patterns.
• Enhanced Access NI check eligibility.
