Housing First / Tenancy Sustainment Worker

About the role

This position supports individuals who have experienced rough sleeping to move into stable housing and maintain long‑term tenancies. Working from a Deptford base with community outreach across Lewisham, you will manage a small, intensive caseload and provide person‑centred assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist rough sleepers in securing and sustaining tenancies.
• Deliver Housing First‑informed, strengths‑based support.
• Manage a caseload of approximately five complex clients.
• Complete risk assessments and ongoing case management.
• Coordinate with landlords, housing providers, and partner agencies.
• Conduct home visits and community‑based support sessions.
• Maintain accurate digital case records.
• Participate in multi‑agency meetings and planning.

Required profile

• Experience in Housing First, homelessness services, hostels, or tenancy sustainment.
• Proven ability to work independently, including lone visits.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfort with case‑management systems.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar case‑management platform).
