Housing Management Officer – London

About the role

We are looking for a Housing Management Officer to manage a caseload of supported accommodation units across London. You will ensure residents are safe, engaged and able to maintain their tenancies while delivering strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 50‑100 supported accommodation units, overseeing tenancy onboarding, renewals and exits.
• Collect rent, pursue arrears and apply pre‑action protocols.
• Provide benefits guidance and support residents with welfare claim processes.
• Coordinate repairs, monitor property standards and ensure compliance with housing legislation.
• Maintain accurate, GDPR‑compliant records using housing management systems.
• Work closely with support teams, local authorities and external contractors to deliver a Psychologically Informed Environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in rent collection, arrears recovery and benefits administration.
• Background supporting vulnerable adults, including mental health, substance misuse or domestic abuse.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation and income‑related processes.
• Excellent communication, numeracy and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
