Housing Needs Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Housing Needs Manager to lead one of five dedicated teams delivering homelessness prevention and assessment services for Haringey residents. The role focuses on high‑quality customer support and ensuring service standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a Housing Needs team, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and performance.
• Provide effective homelessness prevention and assessment services.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and meet established service standards.
• Collaborate with external agencies and partners to coordinate homelessness support.
• Ensure resources are used efficiently to benefit Haringey residents.
• Contribute to the broader Housing Demand service and council objectives.
• Carry out statutory enforcement duties and responsibilities under the Renters Rights Act.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing housing or homelessness support teams.
• Strong understanding of homelessness prevention and assessment processes.
• Familiarity with the Renters Rights Act and related statutory duties.
• Ability to work with external agencies and stakeholders.
