Housing Officer

About the role

You will join a forward‑thinking, community‑focused housing provider that delivers high‑quality housing services and sustainable tenancies. The role is centred on managing a defined patch of properties, supporting residents and ensuring tenancy standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload that includes anti‑social behaviour, tenancy breaches, safeguarding concerns and tenancy fraud.
• Deliver fair and consistent outcomes while maintaining accurate records.
• Travel across the housing patch to engage with residents and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide proactive support and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housing management or tenancy services, especially handling ASB and safeguarding cases.
• Ability to manage complex, high‑volume caseloads effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Experience working with vulnerable customers and handling challenging situations with empathy.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the assigned area.
