Housing Officer

About the role

Venn Group is looking for an experienced Neighbourhood Manager to take ownership of a diverse housing patch in the Bexley area. You will be the face of the organisation within the community, managing around 650 homes and delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end customer journey, including tenancy visits and ongoing engagement.
• Handle tenancy management matters such as anti‑social behaviour, safeguarding, disputes and legal processes.
• Carry out estate and property inspections, ensuring safety, cleanliness and compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve repairs and community issues.
• Oversee estate services, including service charges, arrears queries and contractor performance.
• Represent the organisation at external meetings and support multi‑agency working.

Required profile

• Proven experience within housing or tenancy management.
• Confidence in managing complex cases, including anti‑social behaviour and safeguarding.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a patch independently.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Enhanced Adults DBS clearance.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £29.70 (Umbrella).
• Full‑time temporary contract – 3 months initially.
