Housing Support Worker – Immediate Start

About the role

Join a dedicated team providing high‑quality support to young people leaving care, including unaccompanied asylum‑seeking youths, across Kent. This hybrid role focuses on helping them transition to independent adulthood while ensuring safety and positive life choices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to eight young people, delivering support in line with individualised plans.
• Develop independent living skills such as budgeting, education pathways and social engagement.
• Provide on‑call assistance to young people, staff, social services and management as required.
• Identify and signpost safeguarding concerns according to company policies.
• Attend weekly virtual and monthly in‑person meetings to share updates with peers and Housing Officers.
• Plan your weekly schedule and maintain accurate logs of all interactions.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for daily travel.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Availability for an immediate start on a 40‑hour week (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5 pm).
• Willingness to undertake a 3‑month fixed‑term block booking with potential permanent placement.
