Housing Support Worker – Young People (Kent)

About the role

We are seeking a Housing Support Worker to provide high‑quality support to young people leaving care, including unaccompanied asylum‑seeking individuals, across various services in Kent. The role is full‑time, hybrid and starts immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to eight young people, delivering support in line with individualized support plans.
• Assist young people in developing independent living skills such as budgeting, education and social participation.
• Provide on‑call assistance to young people, staff, social services and management as required.
• Identify and sign‑post safeguarding concerns according to company policies.
• Attend virtual weekly and in‑person monthly meetings to share updates with peers and Housing Officers.
• Plan your own weekly schedule and maintain accurate logs of time spent with each young person.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for daily travel.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Availability for a 40‑hour week (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5 pm) and a 3‑month block booking with potential permanent placement.
