HR Adviser/Partner – Training

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Adviser/Partner to design and deliver training for our line‑manager community. Working across our Reading campus and remotely, you will help managers navigate the full employment lifecycle and support the University’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver HR and induction training programmes, both face‑to‑face and online.
• Cover topics such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, recognition, dispute resolution and exits.
• Provide advisory support to line managers, contributing to wider people‑strategy projects.
• Create and maintain digital training resources and continuously improve the training offering.

Required profile

• CIPD qualified with a proven business‑partnering or senior advisory background.
• Strong ability to build relationships with line managers and influence people‑management practices.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model (office and home) and managing a 35‑hour week.
