HR Advisor – 18‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm for an HR Advisor on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is based in London and offers hybrid working. You will support the HR team with a range of administrative and strategic tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage parental leave processes, long‑term absence and health cases.
• Oversee immigration matters and related documentation.
• Assist other offices with short‑term HR arrangements as needed.
• Process flexible working requests.
• Support HRIS projects and programmes.
• Assist with employee relations (ER) matters.
• Execute onboarding and off‑boarding procedures.
• Draft HR letters and correspondence.
• Identify improvement opportunities and produce ad‑hoc reports.
• Respond to HR queries from staff.

Required profile

• Prior HR experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UK immigration matters and UK employment law.
• Availability to start immediately.
