HR Advisor – 6 month Fixed-Term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a solar energy company for an interim HR Advisor on a six‑month maternity‑cover contract. This hybrid role offers the chance to work within a friendly, supportive HR team and make a genuine difference to the employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice and support to employees and managers.
• Manage employee relations matters, including sensitive and challenging situations.
• Support onboarding and new starter processes.
• Administer and advise on employee benefits.
• Build positive relationships across the business.
• Handle difficult conversations with confidence, empathy and professionalism.
• Contribute to wider HR initiatives and strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (preferred, not required).
• At least 2 years’ experience in an HR generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of day‑to‑day HR and employee relations.
• Confidence dealing with sensitive or challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative.
• Ability to work independently and make an impact from day one.
• Genuine passion for supporting employees and creating a positive workplace.
