HR Advisor – Employee Relations & Payroll

About the role

Trinity Estates is seeking an HR Advisor to own a defined client group, provide commercial HR advice and manage complex employee‑relations cases end‑to‑end. You will act as the primary HR contact for operational managers, lead TUPE transfers and approve monthly payroll while building trusted relationships across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive HR advice on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and occupational health matters.
• Lead complex employee‑relations investigations through hearings and appeals.
• Support managers with restructuring, redundancy and organisational design processes.
• Manage TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance and post‑transfer integration.
• Review and approve monthly payroll submissions, liaising with Finance for reconciliation.
• Advise on flexible working, family‑friendly rights and reasonable adjustments.
• Contribute to the annual performance and reward cycle and HR policy projects.

Required profile

• Solid HR generalist experience with a strong focus on employee relations and case management.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment law and ability to apply it commercially.
• Proven ability to influence and build credibility with managers at all levels.
• Excellent judgment, risk‑management skills and attention to detail.
