HR Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, confident HR Advisor to join our fast‑paced team at Heathrow Airport. You will partner closely with line managers, providing expert guidance on employee relations, case management and using HR data to drive insights that improve workforce performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR Business Partner and site leadership in delivering the strategic HR plan and building people‑management capability.
• Assist with employee satisfaction, performance, retention and effective communication across the site.
• Provide advice and coaching to managers on HR policies, employment legislation and best practice.
• Help design workforce plans, forecast resourcing needs and identify future talent requirements.
• Manage employee cases including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence, coordinating with Occupational Health and formal investigations.
• Collaborate on sickness management, redeployment and return‑to‑work initiatives to reduce absence.
• Supply accurate HR data and reporting to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Hands‑on HR professional with solid experience in employee relations and case management.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR policies.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for supporting managers.
• Ability to analyse HR data and identify trends.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced criminal record check and provide a 5‑year UK work history.
