HR Advisor – Multi‑site Operational Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join a fast‑growing, people‑focused organisation as its first HR Advisor. Based mainly in Kidlington, you will support roughly 300 employees across three UK sites, providing proactive HR guidance and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice on employee relations, including absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Oversee onboarding, induction and probation processes.
• Advise managers on employment law, HR best practice and risk mitigation.
• Support recruitment activities, coach hiring managers and participate in interviews.
• Promote employee wellbeing initiatives and people‑related programmes.
• Assist with review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Produce and analyse HR data such as absence, turnover and recruitment metrics.
• Deliver training and development initiatives across the business.
• Support organisational change projects and broader HR improvement programmes.

Required profile

• Approachable, pragmatic HR professional with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Experience working in a busy operational environment supporting multiple sites.
• Flexibility to work occasional non‑standard hours to support shift‑based managers.
• CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).

• Salary £40,000‑£43,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
