HR Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised HR Assistant to support a diverse educational institution that works with children with special educational needs in Liverpool. The role involves managing HR processes for over 150 permanent and agency staff and offers a clear pathway for professional development, including support for CIPD qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Run recruitment processes and conduct agency inductions.
• Manage probationary reviews and low‑level absence administration.
• Coordinate HR operations for both permanent and agency staff.
• Assist with morning transport duties and student management.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HR policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR or recruitment.
• Strong organisational ability and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, supportive demeanor.
• Willingness to follow restrictive physical‑intervention protocols when required.
• Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
