HR Business Partner – Commercial

About the role

The HR Business Partner – Commercial will act as a strategic partner to senior leaders in revenue‑driven departments such as Operations, Trading and Marketing at EC Markets, a global financial services provider. The role focuses on improving business performance by aligning people strategies with commercial objectives and strengthening leadership capability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to align HR strategy with departmental commercial goals and provide insight to improve organisational performance.
• Drive performance management frameworks, support leaders in setting KPIs, managing under‑performance and developing high‑performers.
• Analyse headcount, productivity and revenue‑per‑employee metrics to develop workforce plans that meet growth targets and budget constraints.
• Coach managers on performance leadership, design development initiatives for high‑impact roles and build succession pipelines for critical positions.
• Use HR analytics to deliver actionable recommendations, monitor the impact of HR initiatives on commercial outcomes and support organisational change programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a commercial or revenue‑driven environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive change and support functions such as Operations, Trading or Marketing.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using HR data to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CIPD Level 5 or higher is a plus.
