HR Business Partner – EMEA (14‑month contract)

About the role

Meta is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support its technology and business teams across the EMEA region. This short‑term (14‑month) position blends hands‑on execution with strategic partnership to foster an innovative, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable talent solutions, including strategic planning, visioning, talent assessment, change management and team building.
• Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership and coaching to leaders at all levels.
• Assess organisational development needs, recommend and implement appropriate interventions.
• Conduct rigorous data analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
• Drive talent management strategies, supporting growth and individual development plans.
• Manage the Performance Summary Cycle and employee engagement surveys throughout the year.
• Partner with Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation, Legal and HR Programs to implement solutions.
• Collaborate with regional HR partners on global strategy and execution.
• Support employee relations issues as needed.
• Design and facilitate team and off‑site meetings.
• Participate in HR community projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent.
• Proven ability to help global, highly matrixed organisations scale.
• Experience managing complex organisational change across EMEA.
• Strong strategic and operational judgment with risk‑assessment capability.
• Excellent consulting, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Effective communication, critical thinking and empathy.
• Demonstrated project and change‑management experience.
• Ability to use data to generate actionable insights.
• Comfort thriving in constantly changing environments and building cross‑team relationships.
