HR Business Partner – Hybrid, 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast‑growing organisation in Milton Keynes on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working hybrid (two days in the office, three days remote), you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, helping shape people strategy and drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers in a dedicated business area, providing pragmatic HR advice and support.
• Manage a full employee‑relations caseload from investigation to resolution.
• Coach and guide managers through complex people issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
• Support recruitment activities, from defining requirements to successful onboarding.
• Review, develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Identify and drive improvements to HR processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with the wider People team on organisational change and transformation initiatives.
• Use HR data and insights to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially focused with the ability to balance people needs and business objectives.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities and changing demands.
