HR Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a large professional services firm in London, supporting its southern region. The role combines strategic people work with hands‑on employee‑relations advice and will involve occasional travel to four southern offices.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with the firm’s EVP.
• Design and deliver client‑group specific People Strategies, understanding their ways of working and strategic drivers.
• Provide proactive change‑management and intervention support across all levels, including partners.
• Manage a full employee‑relations caseload, advising managers and handling escalated cases.
• Coordinate talent‑management initiatives, recruitment, promotions, and the Pathway to Partnership programme.
• Lead salary‑review processes in collaboration with People Experience teams.
• Participate in client‑group forums, contribute ideas and ensure people strategies are measured and refined.

Required profile

• Proven HR Business Partner experience within a professional‑services environment (law, accountancy or consultancy).
• Strong employee‑relations expertise, capable of advising managers and managing cases.
• Willingness to travel to southern offices on a quarterly basis.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
