HR Business Partner

About the role

RKW Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its Head Office in Stoke‑on‑Trent. The role will act as a trusted advisor to managers, driving employee relations, talent management and organisational change across the wholesale business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR advice and coaching to managers and senior leaders.
• Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability and absence.
• Lead organisational change initiatives such as restructures and transformations.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent reviews.
• Coach managers through performance management processes.
• Develop and implement employee engagement, retention and job‑satisfaction initiatives.
• Continuously improve HR policies, procedures and processes to align with legislation.
• Mentor and manage the day‑to‑day workload of the HR Advisor team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in an equivalent generalist role.
• CIPD qualification (minimum Level 5) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases independently.
• Customer‑service oriented mindset.
