HR Business Partner – North West England

About the role

Liberty Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its fast‑paced, supportive team in Knowsley. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers, delivering a pragmatic and comprehensive HR service across employee relations, performance and organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support, focusing on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management.
• Advise managers on employee‑relations issues and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation.
• Manage organisational change initiatives, including TUPE transfers and restructures.
• Coordinate multiple HR projects, maintaining accurate records and meeting tight deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with managers, employees and trade unions.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 7 desirable).
• Extensive experience in employee relations and TUPE processes.
• In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑moving environment and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Experience in a similar industry and a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
