HR Consultant – Generalist (Hybrid, Goring)

About the role

We are seeking an HR Consultant to join our dynamic team in Goring-on-Thames. This hybrid role is primarily office‑based with one remote day per week after successful probation, offering exposure to a variety of UK clients across sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver recruitment services using our Applicant Tracking System, including sourcing, shortlisting, headhunting and interviewing.
• Manage a portfolio of employee‑relations cases covering performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance and investigation matters.
• Design, develop and deliver learning and development programmes, including management training, both in‑person and via Teams/Zoom or cloud‑based portals.
• Act as an account manager for selected clients, building long‑lasting relationships and advising on HR strategy.
• Prepare bespoke contracts and policies tailored to client needs.

Required profile

• Experience as an HR Generalist or Consultant with a solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast‑paced environment with varied client demands.
• Interest in management training and development.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System.
• Experience delivering training via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and employee‑relations processes.
