HR Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an HR Consultant to join a fast‑growing HR consultancy business. You will work directly with business owners, providing expert advice on employment contracts, policies, letters and other HR documentation. The role offers varied, fast‑paced exposure to HR and employment‑law issues while supporting clients throughout the documentation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on the creation and adaptation of HR documentation to meet their specific needs.
• Review existing client documents for compliance with current employment law and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide best‑practice guidance and highlight commercial risks associated with different policy options.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HR and employment‑law developments.
• Build strong, client‑focused relationships and ensure a high level of service satisfaction.
• Guide clients in using Brightbase and BrightHR software to access and manage documentation.
• Proactively contact clients with insights derived from Bright data and log all advice in the internal system.
• Prepare bespoke supporting information and arrange welcome calls for new clients.

Required profile

• HR, CIPD or Employment Law qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑centric attitude.
• Eagerness to continuously develop HR knowledge and skills.
