HR Coordinator – Food Manufacturing Business

About the role

We are partnering with a growing food manufacturing business looking for an organised, proactive HR Coordinator to support employees and managers across the employee lifecycle. This full‑time, office‑based role offers exposure to HR processes, employee relations and people operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate electronic and manual HR records.
• Process employee leavers and calculate holiday pay entitlements.
• Keep employee information in HR systems up‑to‑date.
• Monitor probation reviews and manage exit interview processes.
• Administer absence, including return‑to‑work procedures.
• Support management of ETI breaches.
• Produce HR reports and analysis as required.
• Conduct Right‑to‑Work checks and maintain compliance records.
• Update databases for sickness, maternity, paternity and other records.
• Prepare employment contracts and related documentation.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee HR queries.
• Provide payroll with relevant holiday and sickness data.
• Assist with HR case management and employee relations activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Administrator, Assistant or Coordinator.
• Strong administration and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment.
