HR Generalist – Global Business Solutions – London (Fixed-Term)

About the role

The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team at TikTok is looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support its rapid growth in London. This 12‑month fixed‑term position will act as a trusted People Partner, advising leaders, handling employee relations and driving people‑focused projects across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with HR Business Partners and GBS leadership to translate business priorities into people strategies.
• Coach managers on talent assessment, succession planning and building high‑performing teams.
• Analyse HR metrics such as performance, attrition and engagement to provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Support organisational design initiatives, including restructures, workforce planning and headcount modelling.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee‑relations issues and collaborate with central ER and legal teams on high‑risk cases.
• Oversee performance‑management processes, including coaching, mentoring, review cycles and calibration.
• Manage core HR operations such as internal transfers, organisational changes and HR system reporting.
• Work on‑site five days a week to foster cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as an HR Generalist, People Partner or Human Capital Consultant.
• Hands‑on experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership development and general HR operations.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑growth and ambiguous environments.
• Experience supporting sales, GTM or SMB teams in the technology sector is a plus.
• Track record of designing and implementing people programmes from scratch.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience working with regional and international stakeholders on global HR initiatives.
