HR Hub Assistant – Recruitment

About the role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented HR Hub Assistant to join the recruitment team of the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The role supports end‑to‑end recruitment administration across the Trust, ensuring a smooth and professional hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately input and maintain candidate and employee data in recruitment systems.
• Manage recruitment documentation, including compliance checks and onboarding paperwork.
• Respond promptly to enquiries from candidates and hiring managers via email or phone.
• Support onboarding processes and ensure all required checks are completed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an efficient, customer‑focused recruitment service.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work proactively.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a busy HR environment.

Required skills

• Experience using NHS recruitment systems such as ESR.
• Familiarity with the Trac system.
