HR M&A Transactions Manager

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager to lead HR‑focused M&A and restructuring engagements. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the full deal lifecycle and delivering people‑led transformation programmes that maximise deal value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex HR M&A engagements across due diligence, sell & separate, and buy & integrate phases.
• Shape and implement people‑led transformation programmes to enhance organisational performance.
• Prepare high‑quality RFP responses and client proposals.
• Ensure compliance with EY’s Quality and Risk Management standards from acceptance to programme close.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and multidisciplinary EY delivery teams.
• Coach, mentor and develop the HR M&A team, fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture.
• Contribute to sales initiatives, client propositions, and go‑to‑market activities.
• Translate complex data, regulatory requirements and operational details into actionable client insights.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience in HR M&A transactions and restructuring.
• Strong knowledge of HR disciplines such as organisational design, employee relations, benefits, communications and change management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent client‑service orientation and ability to uphold EY’s quality and risk standards.
