HR Manager – Central London Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a major international sporting organisation in Central London. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote, and offers the chance to shape employee experience across a fast‑paced, global events environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of HR services for a central employee population, covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders to develop an inclusive and engaging workplace.
• Support workforce planning and HR operations for major international sporting events across multiple locations.
• Maintain and improve HR, payroll, and related systems and processes.
• Manage complex HR projects and programmes, ensuring timely delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a fast‑moving organisation.
• Proven ability to manage employees across diverse employment types.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects or programmes.
• Strong knowledge of HR and payroll systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Desirable experience in HR delivery for large‑scale sporting or multi‑site events and implementation of new HR systems.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong planning and project management capabilities.
• Adaptable, proactive and highly organised.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
