HR Manager – Fixed‑Term (12 months)

About the role

Join Müller Milk & Ingredients as a Site HR Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in Bridgwater, you will shape the colleague experience and drive the people agenda within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to exit.
• Build strong relationships with trade unions and site stakeholders to support business goals.
• Coach and support managers on people matters, policies and best practice.
• Drive engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives across the site.
• Use HR data and insights to influence decision‑making and improve performance.
• Support workforce planning, talent development and succession activities.
• Collaborate with recruitment and HR teams to deliver an excellent candidate and onboarding experience.

Required profile

• Experience across core HR generalist activities with solid knowledge of HR policies and legislation.
• Confidence delivering training and coaching to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret and use data effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Collaborative approach with empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Knowledge of GDPR and handling sensitive employee data.
• Manufacturing environment experience is beneficial.
