HR Manager – Fixed‑term maternity cover

About the role

LIMA Networks LTD is seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide maternity‑leave cover on a fixed‑term basis. The role starts in September 2026 and runs until July 2027, offering the chance to lead both strategic and operational HR activities within a dynamic small‑business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic HR advice and coaching to managers, enhancing leadership capability.
• Lead, coach and develop the HR and administration team.
• Drive organisational change initiatives with effective communication and engagement.
• Analyse people data to identify trends and inform continuous improvement.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment and talent retention.
• Oversee performance‑management processes and succession planning.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and high‑performing workplace culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager in an SME setting.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the full HR remit.
• Strong stakeholder‑influence and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience (Level 7 desirable).
