HR Manager - Hybrid

About the role

This role supports a leading international construction and property consultancy as it expands across the UK and abroad. Based in London, the HR Manager will work three days on‑site and two days remotely, partnering with business leaders to deliver the People strategy and drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers, translating business priorities into practical people plans.
• Provide expert, pragmatic advice across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, absence, discipline and grievance processes.
• Analyse people data (headcount, turnover, absence, engagement) to identify risks and opportunities and influence action.
• Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
• Promote an inclusive, high‑performing culture aligned with company values.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a generalist HR or People Manager, preferably within a multi‑site or international environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence decision‑making.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data‑driven approach to HR.
