HR Manager

About the role

This is a fully office‑based HR Manager position reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will shape the people agenda across manufacturing and office teams, aligning HR strategy with business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver people strategies that support business objectives.
• Lead talent attraction, workforce planning, employee engagement and leadership development initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, support transformation projects and use workforce data for decision‑making.
• Embed improved HR processes to foster a high‑performing, inclusive and safety‑focused culture.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, succession planning and ensure the organisation has the skills needed for future growth.
• Coach managers on performance management, employee relations and leadership capability, providing commercially focused HR advice.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
• CIPD Level 5 or 7 accreditation preferred but not essential.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of UK employment legislation.
• Experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Ability to analyse HR data and translate insights into action.
