HR Manager – Part-Time (Bristol)

About the role

Join GXO as an HR Manager supporting the Costa contract across the southern region. You will work closely with operational leaders, trade unions and HR colleagues to deliver people initiatives, support employee‑relations matters and drive engagement across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site operational leaders to deliver the people plan across Greenford, Willand and Avonmouth.
• Coach and develop managers in people management, performance, succession planning and employee experience.
• Lead and manage employee‑relations cases, providing advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence and dispute resolution.
• Build strong relationships with trade unions and support consultation processes.
• Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, diversity and performance.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) with HR advisor‑level experience.
• Strong employee‑relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and trade‑union engagement.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and coaching abilities to influence managers at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites.
