HR Manager – Part‑time (20 hrs) – 9‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

This part‑time, 20‑hour per week position offers a 9‑month fixed‑term contract for an experienced HR professional. You will act as the primary HR advisor for the UK business, working closely with senior leadership to shape people strategy and support day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide trusted HR advice to managers across the business.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, including performance, disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
• Run the monthly payroll and maintain HR systems and employee records.
• Lead salary review and employee‑benefits administration.
• Support performance management, succession planning and learning & development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain HR policies ensuring legal compliance.
• Drive employee‑engagement programmes and support organisational change projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience as an HR generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and confidence handling complex cases.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of UK employment legislation.
• Experience in recruitment, payroll and HR administration.
• Excellent coaching, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• CIPD qualification is advantageous.
