HR Manager – People Strategy & Development

About the role

This fully office‑based position reports directly to the Managing Director and will shape the people agenda for a growing manufacturing and office business. You will design and deliver HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster an inclusive, safety‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement talent attraction, workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, retention and succession planning to ensure the right skills for future growth.
• Manage employee relations matters and support transformation projects.
• Use workforce data to inform strategic decisions and improve organisational effectiveness.
• Coach managers on performance management, leadership capability and HR best practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
• CIPD Level 5 or 7 accreditation preferred but not essential.
